Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our established Finance team in Dudley.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage debt collection and customer accounts to achieve agreed targets.
  • Responsible for own section of ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Provide regular reports on performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Monitor daily debt and propose corrective action where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policy and procedures, chasing payments from customers in a timely manner.
  • Escalate serious issues to Team Leader or Credit Manager as required.
  • Manage a high workload, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Develop effective communication links with stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Accountable for delivering against role description and targets.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in Credit Control, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Experience managing own ledger of accounts, with a strong understanding of financial procedures.
  • Familiarity with MS Office 365 formulas, formatting, and sorting.
  • Previous call handling experience, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
