Experienced Care Manager for Older People

About the Role
SCR Recruitment Services is currently seeking an experienced and quality-focused Registered Manager to lead a residential care home in Plymouth, catering to older adults with dementia.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy, preferably with the Care Quality Commission. Strong staff management skills and knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation, and regulatory requirements are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee the delivery of person-centred care that meets the highest standards.
- To manage and motivate a team to achieve Outstanding ratings from the CQC.
- To ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
- QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management, Registered Managers Award, or NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (desired).
- Prior experience in leadership roles within older people or dementia care homes.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and health and social care legislation.
