Job Overview

Hartford Care seeks a highly skilled Care and Support Professional to join our team as a Day Senior Care Assistant. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to residents in a residential care setting.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, delegation, and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and lead staff members. A minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care is required, along with completion of a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualised care and support to residents during the day
  • Oversee and lead the shift and team members, working collaboratively to create a caring atmosphere
  • Supervise colleagues, conduct handovers, or assist residents with personal care

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care
  • Completion of a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • A kind and caring nature
  • Excellent communication skills and IT system proficiency
  • Ability to motivate and lead staff members
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to working hours
