Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Platform Consultant to join our team at Version 1. As a key member of our Cloud Platform Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions on Microsoft Azure, working closely with customers and colleagues to understand requirements and identify opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver Azure technologies and solutions that are highly available, high performing, and secure, according to best practices noted in the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework.
  • Work with Cloud native solutions and services, including network and security solutions and services.
  • Use DevOps and IaC tooling to streamline delivery and improve quality.
  • Identify solutions for Cloud deployments and lead on technical designs based on customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Platform Team to contribute to technical decisions and team development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading on technical designs and communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Delivery of Azure technologies and solutions that meet best practices.
  • Working with Cloud native solutions and services.
  • Network and security solutions and services.
  • DevOps and IaC tooling.
  • Cloud deployments and technical designs.
  • Passionate about continual learning and development to keep track of emerging technologies.
  • Good commercial awareness and ability to articulate the commercial impacts of technical challenges and opportunities.
