About the Role:

As a Theatre educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Theatre lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to foster a love of drama, develop students acting and performance skills, and prepare them for success in Theatre examinations and productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Theatre lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Develop students' acting, directing, and technical skills through interactive and immersive learning experiences.
  • Prepare students for performances, productions, and examinations by providing guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and creative learning environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Contribute to the school's arts program and productions by sharing your expertise and passion for Theatre.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Theatre or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Theatre.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • Able to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  • Committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes social responsibility.

We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
