We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at A24Group Medical Staffing Agencies. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ambulance fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, including ambulances, tail-lifts, stretchers, and advanced electronic components.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent accidents and ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.
- Make informed decisions on vehicle repairs, working closely with the Fleet Supervisor to ensure optimal fleet performance.
- Participate in a duty mechanic standby rota system to provide 24/7 support for our fleet.
- Attend training courses to stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance and repair techniques.
- Full driving license
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
