Character Model Lead Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Character Model Lead Artist to join our team at Atomic Arcade. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character models from concept to completion, including sculpting, modeling, texturing, and shading.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Art Director and Lead Character Artist to ensure consistency in style and quality across all character assets. You will also coordinate the handoff and integration of character assets from external teams, ensuring they meet the necessary artistic and technical requirements.
Your expertise will help us bring character concepts to life as high-quality, detailed models that capture the essence, style, and personality intended in the original designs.
The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating a breadth of both technical and artistic execution of Character Art in AAA titles. They will also possess strong communication skills to effectively give, receive, and convey creative critique and art direction across internal and external teams.
**Responsibilities:**
- Create high-quality character models from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with Art Director and Lead Character Artist to ensure consistency in style and quality.
- Coordinate handoff and integration of character assets from external teams.
- Mentor and guide junior artists.
**Requirements:**
- Strong portfolio demonstrating Character Art skills in AAA titles.
- Experience partnering with an Art Director or visual lead in developing a unique and cohesive modeling and texturing style.
- Possess deep hands-on knowledge of next-generation asset creation pipelines, tools, and workflows.
