About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our dynamic Adult Community Psychology Team in South West Essex. As a member of this team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological assessment and risk assessments, as well as evidence-based interventions targeted at managing the needs of clients presenting with severe and enduring problems.
This is an exciting opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced psychologists to develop their skills and contribute to our service. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including those who present risks to themselves and/or others and who have histories of trauma and abuse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing psychology interventions and strategies for service delivery, supervising Trainee Psychologists and Clinical Associate Psychologists, and providing consultation and staff support to multidisciplinary staff teams.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Professional post-graduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (BPS accredited)
- HCPC Registered
Desirable:
- Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology
- Doctoral level knowledge of research methodology, research design and complex, multivariate data analysis
Salary Information
Estimated annual salary: £55,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience.
