Job Overview:
PRM Group Ltd is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure seamless operations.

About the Role:
As an IT Support Technician, you will serve as the first point of contact for IT-related queries and issues within the multi-site organization. Your primary responsibilities include processing support calls, promoting the use of the helpdesk, prioritizing and managing multiple open tickets, and collaborating with other support personnel to resolve complex issues. You will also provide end-user training and technical guidance to ensure efficient use of company systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to staff members
  • Process and manage support calls and requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open tickets and mini-projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with senior support personnel to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for technical knowledge and procedures
  • Ensure the organization's hardware and software are adequately maintained and upgraded
  • Plan and execute scheduled maintenance and upgrades to prevent downtime and ensure business continuity
  • Identify and suggest improvements to existing procedures and processes
  • Manage user accounts, security settings, and access permissions
  • Implement and maintain office 365 software licenses and mobile communication systems
  • Maintain phone systems, voicemail, and cordless handsets

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical support services. Additionally, you should possess advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and computer hardware. Familiarity with Office 365 and mobile communication systems is also highly desirable.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
