Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Strategist to lead our Datawarehouse team in the production of BAU data loads, storage, DR, reporting and outbound data. This role is responsible for guiding database management, development, architecture, future design considerations, performance improvements and monitoring.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in MSSQL/MS SQL Azure, database developer skills, knowledge of database architecture and design, including pros and cons of relevant schemas/structure etc, as well as all aspects of the MSSQL stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSMS etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of data professionals to deliver best practice database design to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and apply best practice in database management, development, architecture, future design considerations, performance improvements and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teams across Cornerstone and its third-party suppliers to ensure efficient operation of strategic information services and delivery of the overall BI Team roadmap and project developments.

Requirements

  • MSSQL/MS SQL Azure expertise
  • Database developer skills
  • Knowledge of database architecture and design
  • All aspects of the MSSQL stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSMS etc

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience
