Medical Device Reprocessing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Decontamination Specialist to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff within the Decontamination Services department, ensuring the high-quality, safe, and timely provision of a specialized decontamination service contributing to the clinical care of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate decontamination equipment and carry out routine tests in accordance with Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules, Quality Standards, and Guidance.
- Take immediate action when discrepancies are reported in order to rectify the situation using judgment and analysis to determine and report trends to the quality manager, highlighting potential problems.
- Monitor compliance with QMS and take appropriate actions by raising corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Years of experience in a related field.
- Supervisory and/or management training.
- Proven professional knowledge relevant to the decontamination service and understanding of ISO 13485 systems.
Estimated Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum (inclusive of HCAS).
