Job Title: Hydrology Project Manager
Location: West Midlands (Location Flexible)
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Hydrology Project Manager to lead our water resources planning team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of water resource management in the UK.
You will manage large-scale projects, develop Water Resource Management Plans (WRMPs), Regional plans, Drought Plans, and water resource models. Your expertise in project management and water resource modelling will enable you to grow and leverage your networks to achieve positive project outcomes and provide strategic insight in bid selection and team direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective water resource management strategies
- Manage complex projects, including large teams and budgets
- Provide technical expertise in water resource modelling and environmental assessments
- Liaise with stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., geography, geological sciences, environmental science, civil or environmental engineering)
- Postgraduate degree in hydrology, hydrogeology, or water resources management (preferable)
- Membership with relevant institutions (CIWEM, Institute of Civil Engineers, Institute of Water)
- Professional chartership within an appropriate institution
