About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading manufacturing and sustainable company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising machinery output and minimising plant downtime through effective preventative maintenance and efficient breakdown response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Swiftly remedy plant faults and defects to maintain plant serviceability.
  • Complete reactive tasks across the site and proactively identify root causes and areas for improvement.
  • Control work through Engineering procedures, including LOTOTO and the Permit System.
  • Perform routine PPM on all M&E plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists.
  • Immediately report all critical equipment operational issues to Engineering management.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and computerized records as required.
  • Comply with all current work instructions and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Undertake any reasonable task within your capabilities.

Requirements

  • Electrical and mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • 4+ years of engineering experience.
  • Desired experience with assembly and moulding equipment.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • IEE 17th or 18th Edition certification desired.
  • PLC experience desired.
  • Air and pneumatics training desired.
  • Knowledge of HSE processes and standards.

About the Company

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. We are looking for a self-starter with at least 4 years' experience, ideally with some experience in plastics.
