About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Retail Optometrist Supervisor to join our Eye Care team at Asda Stores Ltd. As a leader in the industry, we offer a unique opportunity to manage a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, providing exceptional patient care and achieving business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be commercially aware, with a deep understanding of the optical industry and its challenges.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the Eye Care department and leading the team to achieve targets
  • Coaching and developing team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Managing clinic operations and shop floor processes to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Providing excellent customer and patient care

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus benefits including a discretionary company bonus, company pension up to 7% matched, and flexible working patterns. You will also get professional indemnity insurance, GOC fees paid, and CET package.
