About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the clinical medicines management of patients with mental health challenges
  • Work closely with inpatient multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective use of medicines
  • Provide bespoke patient-centred pharmacy care to patients across the service
  • Support the education and training of medicines matters for CPFT staff and service users
  • Participate in medicines management schemes on the wards, including patients own drugs, self-administration, medicines reconciliation, and medicines supply

Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree from a recognised university
  • Registered practicing pharmacist with GPhC
  • At least 2 years' post-registration employment as a pharmacist
  • Experience of working in hospital pharmacy and mental health pharmacy
  • Excellent written presentation skills
