Job Description:

Clearfield Recruitment Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer for an 8-week project. You will be working on behalf of our client, a reputable groundworks company, focusing on a large housing development. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in groundworks and residential construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, and services.
  • Ensuring all engineering work is completed in accordance with design and quality standards.
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and other engineers to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Conducting surveys and providing technical support on-site.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate records of works and as-built information.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Site Engineer role, ideally within groundworks and housing projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction.
  • Must have your own total station/kit and be fully equipped for the job.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety standards on construction sites.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
