About the Role

At Avery Healthcare, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, and innovative environment for all.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes that impact care and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in person-centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements, ensuring accurate administration and record-keeping.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and providing guidance on development opportunities.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, addressing concerns and escalating issues as necessary.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all your interactions.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a range of responsibilities.
