About the Role

As a Care Manager at Glenholme Healthcare Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and care to individuals with complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team and make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work collaboratively with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored care plans that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, including staff supervision, rostering, quality assurance, training, budget management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care provision, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, encouraging staff to strive for best practice and delivering exceptional results in all aspects of the service.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to representing the organisation professionally in internal and external interactions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Service Manager or Deputy Manager, preferably in services supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or associated complex needs.
  • Relevant health or social care qualifications (NVQ Level 5 or equivalent) or other professional qualifications such as nursing, occupational therapy, or social work.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of best practice in managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support approaches.
  • Ability to work flexibly on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
