About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Health, Safety and Fire Consultant to join our team at Search People. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with all aspects of health, safety, and environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough health and safety risk assessments and audits at various client sites.
  • Develop and implement bespoke health and safety management systems for clients' customers.
  • Carry out and create fire risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct client-specific risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Prepare and present health and safety management reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Survey client premises to identify client requirements and provide guidance on implementing effective health and safety practices.
  • Advise and coach personnel on implementing company procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Audit and inspect health and safety practices across the business to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Provide client training on the use of health and safety management systems and best practices.
  • Utilize experience in multi-site environments to provide expert advice and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Desirable experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Hold a recognized GradIOSH or equivalent qualification.
  • Be an engaging and effective health and safety professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a recognized fire qualification and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Be an adaptable team member with a can-do approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
