Job Title: Travel and Tourism Educator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join our team at Hull College Group. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging teaching to students of all ages and abilities, employing innovative methods to promote stretch and challenge.
  • Lead, coordinate, and support course activities to achieve curriculum area targets, including financial claims to funding bodies.
  • Plan, prepare, and update teaching documentation, including schemes of work, lesson plans, and online learning materials.
  • Facilitate academic tutorials, contribute to marketing, and participate in open events, schools tasters, and enrolment events.
  • Assess, monitor, and record timely feedback to students, leading IV/IQA processes, and contributing to quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Travel and Tourism or related field (Level 4 or above).
  • Previous experience in teaching subject specialism.
  • Experience working within Further/Higher education.
  • Ability to work as a professional team member and liaise with tutors, employers, and agencies.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
