About the Job

We are looking for a talented Quantity Surveying Lead to take charge of our £60m New Build Healthcare Scheme for the NHS.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in managing commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects.

The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

The estimated salary for this position is around £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location is On-site 5 days a week, Bexhill-On-Sea.

Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the commercial aspects of the project, including cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • To lead a team of quantity surveyors and engineers in delivering the project.
  • To identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on commercial management.
  • NEC4 contract expertise.
  • Public framework knowledge.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as quantity surveying or construction management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
