Cloud Data Architect for Commercial Banking Sector

Our client, a leading player in the Commercial Banking sector, is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Data Architect to play a key role in a major cloud transformation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data models from conceptual through to physical, collaborating on cloud architecture and deployment strategies, and optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and security within an AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data models to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud architecture and deployment strategies
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security within an AWS environment
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and S3
  • Experience in building or migrating large-scale systems to the cloud
  • In-depth knowledge of data decomposition patterns
  • Proficiency in Physical Data Models (PDMs) and Logical Data Models (LDMs) representation

This is a PAYE contract working through an Umbrella company, with a competitive Umbrella rate. The company operates a hybrid working policy, offering a great work-life balance.
