Control Systems Engineer

Automation Experts Ltd is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and assembling automated machinery for FMCG sectors.

The Role:
  1. Design and develop PLC-based electrical control systems from design specifications.
  2. Program PLC, HMI, and safety configurable relay systems.
  3. Configure remote I/O, servo motor, and inverter drives.
  4. Integrate ancillary equipment into production lines, including vision systems.
  5. Fault find electrical control systems, PLC, and hardware systems.
  6. Commission, support, and service at customer sites.
The Person:
  1. Ideally HND/HNC qualified in a relevant Electrical discipline.
  2. A firm grounding in control systems and PLC-based control is essential.
  3. Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron PLCs is ideal.
  4. Understanding of vision and SCADA systems.
  5. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or explosive atmosphere regulations is desirable.

The successful Control Systems Engineer will work with clients across the globe, requiring an element of international travel. This role involves working with Electricians and Panel Builders to design and build control systems, and then program and commission machines within the factory and on-site.

You will be joining a company experiencing a large number of orders on-going for the long-term future.
