We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, with opportunities for additional earnings through a quality-related bonus of up to 10%.

As a Physiotherapist Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will use your clinical expertise to listen carefully and take down each person's medical history before performing a physical examination. Your task will be to produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) so they can decide each person's eligibility for benefits.

You will meet people both face-to-face and via telephone/video, and it is essential that you are sensitive, compassionate, and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards. In return, we offer a comprehensive training programme, full IT equipment provided for remote working, and regular 1-2-1 reviews with your manager.

Requirements:
  • A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Experience of using a range of software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
