About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Oxton Grange Care Home. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Salary: £10.90 per hour

This is a permanent full-time day contract with access to our work-placed pension scheme and early pay through our Wage Stream App.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of communal areas and residents' bedrooms
  • Carrying out general cleaning tasks, including hoovering and cleaning bathrooms
  • Preparing and delivering laundry services for residents
  • Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and hygiene
  • Maintaining housekeeping products and equipment

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Physical stamina to carry out manual handling tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
