Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective cash-flow forecasting strategies
  • Manage payroll, CIS, and P11D's, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Produce high-quality monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights for business decision-making
  • Consolidate financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare statutory accounts and manage the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Supervise and mentor an assistant accountant, providing guidance and support
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasting financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating financial information

Requirements

  • Hold a recognized accounting qualification (QBE/ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex financial information effectively
  • Experience in collaborating with non-finance teams, explaining financial data to non-technical colleagues
  • Strong management accounts skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Proficient in Excel, with the ability to create complex financial models
