The successful candidate will provide exceptional care and support to children with special needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality care and support to children with special needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities that promote the children's physical, emotional, and educational development, such as swimming, walks, educational activities, and trips out in the community.
- Support the children's independence with everyday tasks, such as dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, external professionals, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
**Requirements:**
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
