Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced commercial account handler to join our team at City Insurance Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for advising on a variety of insurance products, including Motor Fleet, SME Business, Property Owners, PI, Shop and Offices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Using our bespoke computer system, Acturis & CDL, you will provide key support to our commercial team and engage with clients by telephone and email.
  • Liaising with insurance companies to make amendments and discuss existing policies, you will maintain a good level of personal smartness and presentation.
  • Identifying client needs and suiting them to the correct product, you will adhere to company procedures and compliance obligations.
  • Treating customers fairly and giving sound advice, you will be a quick learner and able to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Good standard of education
  • Good understanding of Windows programs - use of Word and Excel
  • Being attentive and maintaining concentration in a busy environment
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority
Desirable:
  • Good listening and observation skills
  • Previous experience and or proven customer care skills
  • Enthusiasm
  • Willing to learn and progress
  • Naturally helpful person prepared to work hard.
