Job Title: Assistant Landscape Quantity Surveyor

The Gardenists is seeking an experienced Landscape Quantity Surveyor to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of landscape construction projects within the luxury landscape design and build sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cost Control and Analysis: Conduct thorough cost control and analysis for high-end landscaping construction projects, ensuring financial targets are met.
  2. Estimates and Budgets: Prepare detailed estimates and budgets for landscape construction projects, assessing the costs of materials, labour, and other resources required.
  3. Tender Evaluation: Evaluate tenders submitted by contractors and subcontractors, ensuring the best value for our clients.
  4. Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress to ensure financial goals are achieved, tracking expenses and identifying deviations.
  5. Contractual Management: Manage contractual issues and claims, handling disputes and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  2. Luxury Landscape Experience: Proven experience as a Landscape Quantity Surveyor within the luxury landscape construction sector is essential.
