Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Naval Architect Engineer to join our team at Babcock International in Devonport Royal Dockyard.

This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of design estimates, schedules, tenders, and technical substantiations, while monitoring spends to ensure assigned projects and tasks are completed on time, in cost, and to the required quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD or other design software and a strong understanding of survey/NDE techniques, repair alternatives, and standards.

Salary: £43,935 - £49,104 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of design estimates, schedules, tenders, and technical substantiations.
  • Monitor spends to ensure assigned projects and tasks are completed on time, in cost, and to the required quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience in AutoCAD or other design software.
  • Understanding of survey/NDE techniques, repair alternatives, and standards.
