Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a progressive school in Haringey. The successful candidate will work with KS2 children who require additional support with SEMH and ASD needs.

About the Role:
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with children under the guidance of the Class Teacher
  • Support children with SEMH and ASD needs in a 3-form entry school
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher to develop and implement individualized support plans
Requirements:
  • At least one year's experience working with children, preferably in an education setting
  • Good Literacy and numeracy skills
  • A great understanding of behaviour strategies
  • NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
