Complex Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our dedicated team supporting a client with complex care needs in their family home in Horley.

As a Care Assistant, you will work long-term with one or a small number of clients, benefiting from a fixed rota and the option of overtime.

Role Overview

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our client's daily life, providing essential support including:

  • Administering medication
  • Supporting with PEG feeds
  • Performing oral suctioning
  • Providing personal care
  • Assisting with moving and handling
Shift Patterns and Benefits

We offer flexible shift patterns, including waking nights and twilights, with competitive hourly rates.

  • Waking nights – 19:30-07:30 – £14.64 per hour
  • Twilights – 16:00 – 22:00 – £13.31 per hour

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 6 months of professional care experience in a UK healthcare setting
  • Experience working with complex care clients
  • Confident in working with children and making shifts engaging
  • Comfortable being around pets (cats and dogs)
  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
