Fixed Asset Accountant | Dartford | £50k + car allowance

Our client, a privately owned multi-national business, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is fully office-based and offers a range of career options.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Liaise with external auditors to complete asset audits on behalf of funders.
* Maintain the Capex report, tracking expenditure and ensuring headroom for future capex with funders.
* Report funder analysis for management and financial accounts.
* Post journals for operating lease assets.
* Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for Hire Purchase and Operating Lease assets under IFRS16.
* Capitalise assets in COINs.
* Review disposals, ensuring outstanding settlements are processed.
* Reconcile the Fixed Asset Register.
* Maintain the asset listing, requesting and filing clearance letters.
* Drive and manage Select cash through refinancing of unencumbered assets.
* Maintain the FMIS reporting system and upgrade to the new platform.
* Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
* Support the Finance Manager with the yearly audit and Financial Reporting at year end.

**Key Requirements:**

* Ideally, a fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA accountant or at finalist stage.
* Effective communicator with a strong team ethic and desire to share knowledge.
* Confident communicator, happy speaking and presenting to all levels.
* Analytical, flexible, and creative, able to research complex issues and solve poorly defined problems in innovative ways, with attention to detail.
* Strong financial and analytical skills.
