Role Overview

As an IT Enterprise Architect with a focus on Data, you will be part of the QinetiQ journey, working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with industry experts. Your role will involve providing support and subject matter expertise to the IT services function, owning the technology roadmap within the Data area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop methods and procedures to improve security and data privacy within the deliverable portfolio of solutions.
  • Act as a primary source of knowledge and expertise for other areas of IT services, providing technical leadership within your specialism.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of application, data, and infrastructure professionals to implement strategies.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working within an enterprise-level IT environment, with the ability to define strategies, provide business engagement, supplier engagement, building block methodology, and roadmaps.
  • Experience with Data governance or Data Modelling, and a focused understanding of Architecture frameworks.
  • A strong understanding of Data lifecycle management, with a strong knowledge of industry best practices in both cloud-based and on-premises solutions.
  • Previous experience acting as a trusted advisor on data technologies to senior stakeholders, articulating strategies up to CxO level.

Qualifications

  • A Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or equivalent field) or relevant technical experience.
