Job Description

As a Product Assurance Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of innovative space products from concept through delivery.

You will design and implement Product Assurance Plans tailored to each project, ensuring cohesive quality control across suppliers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality assurance processes for materials, parts, and manufacturing methods
  • Manage and resolve non-conformance issues, critical items, and changes in project requirements
  • Conduct detailed reviews of drawings, procedures, test results, and inspection records
  • Lead Quality Management System initiatives, including internal audits, continuous improvement projects, and metrics analysis
  • Act as the primary liaison for customer and supplier communications related to quality assurance

Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a related technical field.

Solid background in Product or Quality Assurance within the spaceflight or aerospace manufacturing sector.

Experience in the design, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and delivery phases of spaceflight hardware.

Strong technical writing skills for preparing in-depth technical documentation.

Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) in an industrial environment.

Proficiency with quality assurance tools, techniques, and methodologies.
