CNC Machinist - Precision Component Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team as a Precision Component Specialist at our leading precision machine shop.

About Us: Our company, IGR Tech Recruitment, is committed to excellence and innovation in the production of high-quality, large-scale components. We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC milling machines to machine large one-off parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Correa, Anyak, or Mitsubishi) to machine large one-off parts up to 10 tons in weight.
  • Download programs from our CAD/CAM system or write programs from engineering drawings.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in machining.
  • Utilize measuring equipment to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably with Heidenhain controls.
  • Proficiency in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with relevant measuring equipment and quality control processes.
  • A crane license is advantageous but not required.
