Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Transformation and Logistics Manager to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The Fleet Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of vehicles across various projects. This involves collaborating with Technical Project Managers to plan and specify vehicles, maximizing vehicle utilization, and resolving any concerns or issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vehicle Planning and Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to advise on and support the planning and specification of vehicles for each project.
  2. Coordinate Vehicle Usage: Optimize transport requirements while ensuring adherence to security protocols and maximizing vehicle utilisation.
  3. Vehicle Issue Resolution: Address concerns raised about vehicles within the business and ensure timely updates.
  4. Disguise Strategy Management: Source and implement vehicle disguise strategies to meet project needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Strong understanding of financial limits within the area of responsibility.
  2. Excellent communication skills across various forums and levels.
  3. Ability to influence and guide colleagues.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills for addressing cross-functional issues.
  5. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and the ability to conduct risk assessments.
  6. Proficiency in German is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Familiarity with vehicle road-worthiness and legislative requirements in relevant countries.
  2. Advanced knowledge of design and development, testing and measurement, engineering drawings, and relevant software tools.
  3. Familiarity with the Product Emergence Process (PEP).

Qualifications:

  1. An engineering Degree or equivalent is preferable.
  2. Membership in a relevant professional institution and Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
