About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Senior Rotational Physiotherapist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy care to patients with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy, with experience in in-patient orthopaedics and MSK out-patients. You will be confident in your ability to work autonomously, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a rotation scheme, implementing and reviewing clinically effective and evidence-based programmes of physiotherapy care for patients.
  • Perform advanced assessment of patients with diverse and complex presentations, determining a clinical diagnosis and providing effective treatment plans.
  • Work on a six-month rotational basis in various areas, including musculoskeletal outpatients, hydrotherapy, gymnasium rehabilitation, and orthopaedic inpatients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other professionals to maximise rehabilitation potential and ensure understanding of condition and/or surgery.
  • Take delegated responsibility from the Team Leader, including clinical and managerial duties, and delegate appropriately to junior staff.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, in line with departmental and CSP standards.
Person Specification
  • HCPC Registration
  • BSc degree / diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Post-graduate experience in in-patient orthopaedics and MSK out-patients
  • Current NHS experience as a qualified physiotherapist
