About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Mechanical Development Specialist to join our team at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. As a key member of our Powertrain Mechanical Development team, you will be responsible for delivering Transmissions & Driveline development and validation testing in accordance with component & vehicle development plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define component and system targets with the design team
  • Create and maintain test procedures
  • Own component, system and vehicle DVP
  • Plan and execute mechanical development/performance development testing
  • Lead problem-solving investigations that occur during the development programme
Requirements
  • Physical hands-on experience with other DCT or transmission types
  • Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience of driving optimization through analysis
  • Managed concern resolution experience
  • Experience with INCA, MDA, AVL CONCERTO & MATLAB
