Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) is a leading provider of trading and financial software solutions for the distribution, wholesale, merchant, and retail industries. Our software environments cater to single- or multi-branch operations, as well as organizations with point-of-sale showrooms and warehouses.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing client-side solutions on top of our ecommerce products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user-friendly HTML web solutions using PHP.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve usability on existing and new projects.
  • Work with front-end developers to investigate and resolve coding issues.
  • Integrate with other KCS teams to ensure seamless ERP system integration.
  • Maintain high-quality and efficient source code to maximize response times and provide a smooth user experience.
  • Liaise with clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in PHP, jQuery, HTML, Less/CSS, Flexbox, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, Linux, and Git.
  • Experience in a Web Developer role with a focus on ecommerce.
  • Knowledge of SEO and its implementation.
  • Experience in browser testing and debugging.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce principles and practices.
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising developers.
  • Ability to write technical specifications.
