About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Valuations Manager to join our BDO Advisory team. As a key member of our Valuation Team, you will work closely with clients to provide expert valuations for financial reporting purposes, including intangible assets and purchase price allocations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality valuations for financial reporting purposes, including intangible assets and purchase price allocations.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored valuation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry developments and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality valuations and advisory services.
Requirements
  • Strong grounding in valuations gained within a professional services firm.
  • Proficiency in a number of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and other derivatives pricing, and intangible asset valuation techniques.
  • Ability to interpret financial statements in relation to valuations.
  • Strong business writing, analytical, and Excel modelling skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent academic background, including a professional qualification in accountancy or other related financial discipline.
