About the Role

As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will gain significant responsibility and have the opportunity to lead your own Audit Engagements, working closely with Managers and Partners as required. You will gain a wealth of experience and exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients, with the potential to work on more complex clients and eventually become an Audit Manager with your own portfolio.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a variety of audit engagements across a diverse client base, liaising with managers and partners when required
  • Preparing audit files, getting involved with audit planning, and leading/assisting fieldwork
  • Helping with the training and development of junior auditors, reviewing their work as required
  • Preparing and finalizing statutory accounts
  • Drafting tax computations ready for review by the tax team
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or soon to be qualified
  • At least 3 years' UK practice experience in both audit and accounts
  • Experience with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH would be an advantage
  • Enjoy working with and helping to develop junior staff
