Job Title: Autism Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Autism Support Assistant to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will provide support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs in a creative and inclusive Primary School based in Lewisham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with Autism (ASD) to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to promote social, emotional, and behavioral well-being.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment that values diversity and promotes equality.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children with Autism (ASD) or other Special Educational Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
