Ophthalmic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmologist to provide coverage for shifts at our reputable NHS client in the Torbay area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Consultant Ophthalmologist with experience in Glaucoma procedures to work as an additional consultant, providing flexible and competitive pay rates.

• Weekday and Weekend shifts available - Full-day shifts on weekends.
• Consistent opportunities available over a long duration.
• Engage in 2-week wait referrals, general outpatient clinics, and minor operations.
• Contribute to reducing waiting times through dedicated initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide high-quality medical care to patients requiring ophthalmological services.
• To conduct outpatient clinics and minor operations as required.
• To contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience working at Consultant Level within the NHS.
• Experience in Glaucoma procedures.
• Right to work in the UK.
• GMC Specialist Registration.
