About the Role
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health is seeking a highly influential and dynamic leader to join its Senior Leadership Team as the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services. This is a high-profile and fast-paced role that requires a solid communicator, natural leader, and confident decision maker with a flair for developing strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dynamic and forward-thinking leadership of the Corporate Services division, driving strategic change and contributing to the overall organisational development, vision, and strategic aims of the College.
- Set the strategic direction of the Corporate Services Division and the functions within it, including the Finance function, financial sustainability, and the College's finance business cycle.
- Oversee the Income Diversification Unit, Grants and Partnerships, and Commercial strategies, ensuring effective, robust processes are in place and value for money is consistently provided.
- Lead the College's Governance, Committees, Contract Management, and Facilities teams, ensuring that effective, robust processes are in place and value for money is consistently provided.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or with an equivalent accountancy qualification.
- Significant experience at a senior level, with a proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, combine both strategic and operational leadership, and drive a progressive agenda.
- Strong sector experience, with the ability to provide recommendations for action and shape the delivery of the College's aims.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally, and influence the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community.
