About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Disability Assessor. As a Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), writing factual evidence-based reports, and reviewing further medical evidence for cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to determine the impact of a person's disability on their daily life
  • Write clear and concise reports based on the assessment findings
  • Review further medical evidence to support or challenge the assessment findings
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive assessments
Requirements
  • 1 year post-graduate experience as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RLND), Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic
  • NMC or HCPC registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
