Job Title: Care & Support Assistant - Evening Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care & Support Assistant to join our team at Home Instead, working a variety of evening shifts to support our clients in their own homes.

About the Role:

As a Care & Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and our care team to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored support to meet their individual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs
  • Engage in activities and hobbies with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team members to ensure seamless care delivery

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and develop your expertise in care and support.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid UK driving license and access to a car. You will also need to be available to work a variety of evening shifts, including alternate weekends. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expect all staff to share this commitment.

This role is subject to DBS enhanced disclosure and requires the applicant to live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
