About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in the London Borough of Bexley.

This is a permanent role that will start as soon as the ideal candidate is secured.

You will be working in a diverse, supportive environment with a team of dedicated professionals who deliver high-quality education to children of all ages.

Responsibilities:
  1. Providing support to class teachers in delivering lessons and developing schemes of work
  2. Working with small groups and individuals to support their learning and progress
  3. Leading whole class sessions and supporting assessment and feedback
  4. Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  5. Providing feedback to teachers and parents on pupil progress
Requirements:
  1. Relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Support (e.g. HLTA status, CACHE Level 4, NVQ Level 4 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
  2. Experience working as an HLTA in a primary or secondary school setting
  3. Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment framework
  4. Strong communication and organisational skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
