Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Asset Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Nottingham.

About the Role:

This is a 3-month initial contract with the opportunity for permanent employment. As a Water Asset Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing water and wastewater assets to defined internal quality standards.

You will deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring health and safety, financial, KPI, statutory, quality, and contractual compliance.

You will work closely with scheduling teams and line management to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining site standards to food-grade level, particularly on water assets
  • Supporting local operational incidents
  • Participating in an out-of-hours operational standby rota
  • Carrying out O&M works on a Water Treatment works capable of producing 5 mega liters per day
  • Undertaking shift work, including late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays

Requirements:

To succeed as a Water Asset Maintenance Specialist, you will need:

  • Experience in operating and maintaining water and wastewater assets
  • Knowledge of Minor Civil works, such as drainage, manholes, and water pumps
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues
  • Computer and smartphone literacy for using Field IT

Qualifications and Certifications:

Prior experience in O&M activities, Water/Sewage assets, and ability to use safety equipment/tools is preferred.

A salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits, is offered for this role.
