London, Greater London, United Kingdom Via Full time

Via is leveraging technology to revolutionize transportation globally. From transforming a single person's daily commute to reducing humanity's collective environmental footprint, our goals are ambitious.

We're seeking a Mobility Support Specialist to join our Operations team and help build and operate our exceptional on-demand services. You can expect an in-depth introduction to operations, technology management, and on-demand mobility. As part of an emerging team, you'll experience the dynamics of the mobility industry firsthand.

This role can be performed remotely, provided you're based in Germany or England. Please note that this position is also referred to as 'Support Operations Agent'.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will ensure the smooth daily operation of our services by providing telephone and email support
  • You will work flexible shifts that accommodate your lifestyle and receive appropriate shift bonuses for night-time work, Sundays, or public holidays
  • You will make sure our drivers and passengers feel supported in all matters and always assist them with their questions or concerns
  • You will focus on customer satisfaction and resolving issues efficiently
  • You will have numerous opportunities to grow with additional tasks and responsibilities if desired, leading to increased compensation accordingly

About You:

  • You possess fluent German (at least C1 level) and knowledge of the English language
  • You're an effective communicator able to find the right tone in various contexts
  • You enjoy offering advice and support over the phone
  • You remain calm under pressure and develop creative solutions in real-time
  • You may not have experience as a call center employee, but you're eager to learn and deliver exceptional service
  • You're passionate about Via's mission to enable accessibility to mobility and reduce the world's carbon footprint
  • You're tech-savvy and enjoy working with modern IT tools

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work, as long as you're based in Germany or England
  • State-of-the-art hardware for a worry-free work environment
  • The possibility of working for a company dedicated to improving the quality of life for those who need it most
  • A competitive hourly rate of €14/h for a 40-hour work week, which can increase depending on shifts and hours worked
  • 28 days of vacation days inclusive of public holidays (if based in England)

We're Via, pioneers of TransitTech, aiming to create a shared, dynamic public mobility system that reduces carbon emissions in congested cities, minimizes reliance on private cars, and provides accessible, efficient, and affordable ways of getting around.

We've developed the first end-to-end TransitTech solution for cities and transit agencies, offering world-class software, service design, and operational expertise to fundamentally improve the way the world moves.

Via was founded on the principle that we go further when we go together. We're committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace where all backgrounds, identities, and voices are welcomed and celebrated.

If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be the ideal candidate for this or other roles.

Via is an equal opportunity employer.
